An Australian visa specialist will deal with the local demand for information about moving to Australia by holding a seminar in Gallagher’s Hotel, Letterkenny, on Friday, January 29th.
The seminar is being organised by Australian Migration & Visa Lawyers, a group of Australian visa specialists.
A spokesperson for the group told the Letterkenny Post that there had been significant interest expressed by Donegal people in relation to Australian visas.
“We’ve seen an increased number of young people contact us in the last six months,” the spokesperson confirmed.
“That is our reason for choosing Letterkenny. It was due to the demand in interest in the area. From what we can gather, this is due to the high level of unemployment. The interest is there.” The seminar will cover the main visa categories available to Irish residents including working holiday visas, skilled and family visas, changes to processing times plus top tips for successful visa applications. There will also be a question and answer session and the opportunity for one-to-one advice.
“It’s really an opportunity for people to come and get the real information on what’s going on in Australia – not just with visas but giving people advice on job prospects, whether backpackers or families.”
The seminar will commence at 7.15pm.
Meanwhile, it is expected that the points requirement for CAO courses next September will rise due to an increase in mature students.
