BOXING CHAMP COMING

Dublin born WBA Super Bantamwieght World Champion Bernard Dunne will be appearing at Voodoo, Letterkenny on Friday, June 12th.
Following his win on Saturday, March 21st where Dunne defeated Ricardo Cordoba in the 11th round to become the WBA Super Bantamweight World Champion, he has been an Irish hero in the eyes of the nation.
Dunne boxed at amateur level for Ireland where he had a record of 119 wins and just 11 defeats. He captured 13 Irish titles but didn’t qualify for the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia.
Dunne was also never beaten by an Irishman in his amateur career.
He’ll be arriving at the venue at 8.30 p.m.
