Adrian’s burger costs him his flight…

Celtic man Adrian Glacken and his brother Gary were left counting the cost of a quick burger after watching the Bhoys’ Champion’s League campaign come to an end in the San Siro last week.
Having endured all the highs and lows of a battling display by the Scottish team – who eventually lost 1-0 to AC Milan – they went for a burger after the game.
“We were hungry and went to get something to eat,” recalled Adrian, who works in Tesco’s in Lettekenny.
“Our plane back was meant to go at 2.00 am but we missed the coach after going for a burger. In the end we had to pay for another flight that took us back to Dublin, rather than Belfast, and we then had to get a bus back to Donegal,” he added.
The burger wasn’t even nice – “I threw half of it away” – and it ended up being a costly trip.
But the atmosphere was the best he has ever experienced for an away game, and he would gladly do it all again. “It was worth every penny,” he said.
